Introducing the Gagetribe

In October we travel from spring to autumn, across the Pacific Ocean to explore parts of Canada and USA while Dad works his way around universities in Vancouver, Virginia, Missouri and California.



This trip is the culmination of years of intense study, hard work and parenting of our 4 adventure loving kids into the teenage years. Intense study led Jeff to Missouri 12 years ago to study for his PhD and we followed. We returned home to NZ in 2005 and now we are following Dad again this time with no car seats or strollers in tow. The kids can all carry their own bags, fill out their own forms and we won’t have to stay in Toontown most of the day if we go to Disneyland!



We will be homeschooling as we travel with lots of fieldtrips, renewing of friendships and time with extended family. We will be one short for the first half of the trip while Ryan finishes his semester of classes. He will join us in Missouri in time for Thanksgiving.



We are so grateful for this amazing opportunity to travel together as a family and to revisit special people and places that have been part of our family memories. We would value your prayers as we travel.
